Who We Are

Fifteen Years of Wood Technology, Ten Years of Project Experience

VOCANA aluminium-wood system windows and doors are revolutionary system doors and windows elaborately launched based on 15 years of VOCANA wood technology R&D and 10 years of project application experience accumulated by Ningbo VOCANA Green Building Technology Co., Ltd.

They inherit the aesthetic appearance and energy-saving merits of conventional aluminium-wood windows and doors, and achieve a qualitative leap in weather resistance and long-term service stability, with a VOCANA wood cladding structure on both interior and exterior sides.

Compared with traditional broken-bridge aluminium alloy products, they deliver outstanding advantages in heat preservation & energy efficiency, structural strength, customisable surface finishes and noise reduction — and perform better in water tightness and air tightness thanks to optimised structures.

Profiles can be artistically customised with themed designs via digital engraving and coating processes to meet the design requirements of individual projects.

Company Facts

Ningbo VOCANA Green Building Technology Co., Ltd. is the parent company of Ningbo VOCANA New Material Co., Ltd. — the wood-technology business whose material research the ThermaMatch systems are built on.

The group began in April 2005 in Beilun District, Ningbo — a deep-water port district on China’s east coast — and has been developing VOCANA wood technology ever since. The ThermaMatch aluminium-wood systems are the outcome of 15 years of that material research and 10 years of project application experience, brought together with Italian system design.

We are a lead drafting unit for several national (GB) and industry standards in the window, door and cladding sector. Material test and development units in Singapore and Australia support the R&D centre in Ningbo, where two Italian and one Chinese chief designers develop each system.

Manufacturing is grouped around Ningbo: profiles are extruded and machined in Wuhan and Foshan, then assembled and finished in Beilun. From there the group supplies nine building-envelope systems — composite and aluminium windows and doors, glass curtain walls, rainscreen and strip cladding, BIPV shading, net-zero pods, composite decking and external wall ventilation — to projects in Europe, North America and Oceania.
